Last August.....

you went everywhere in the bjorn

you were just starting to hold your bottle, with help from your toes :)

you had your first trip to the bier garten (of course many more followed)

you would fall asleep, in our arms, anywhere! (like at johnny pepperoni's)

you were just starting solids, and loved them!

you had the BEST chunky legs, and wrists, and neck....

you loved jumping in your jumparoo

bbq and home brew tastings were a breeze when you couldn't run up and down steps yet ;)

....can't believe that September is here already, that last year I was struggling with going back to work, and now I get to spend all my days with my amazing boy, who is not a baby anymore....but we have so many fun adventures coming up, the three of us, I can't wait to see what this fall will bring.... xoxo my boy will always be my peanut, baby 'P'

scenes from sunday

we had a blast on sunday when we went to Van Saun park, right by Rob's grandma's house.  we rode on the very same train that Rob rode on as a little boy (and Rob's mom as a little girl!)  So nice to spend time with everyone, and Parker was loving every minute...

fire department museum

we took parker to the fire department museum
a few weekends ago.....
and it was a huge hit

we will for sure be taking many trips back

 

ps-this is the guy who showed us around, he is the original creator of the museum!

last friday...

Rob had the day off!
for p's 15 month check up, with shots :(

we are soooo proud of our little mister
he is doing stellar and such a boy now, no longer a baby
though he will always be our peanut!

besides that ten minute check up, we had a lovely day
playing at all our neighborhood parks, eating lunch on the stoop,
and had a surprise date night at pier 13 when rob's folks came by for an early evening visit

we enjoyed dinner al fresco with thai food and craft beers
this spot is awesome and becoming our favorite hangout
