last saturday was spent visiting my dear friend,

 her husband and adorable little girl morgan

we played in their backyard

drank from ben's stellar collection of micro brews

and ate a great bbq meal of shrimp, veges 

and homemade chocolate chip cookies

parker was smitten with morgan, and she with him

tuesday tunes

can't wait to see beirut next month

feeling nostalgic

missing my wonderful husband

While visiting my parents, Parker got to help my dad water the flowers in the yard.  They had fun walking hand in hand, watering all the plants and flowers, and taking breaks to fill up their watering cans.  Parker also helped sweep the deck.  He looks like such a little man in these pictures.  I can't believe how fast this year has gone by!

This week has been crazy.  We are visiting family and staying with my sis and her four boys, three of which are under four.  We are having an adventure!  We have been to visit my good friend and her two boys as well, and are seeing my folks tonight.  Tomorrow we head back home.  I have to say that I am ready to be back in my own bed and to get Parker on his schedule again, but it's been a blast.  Pics from our week so far:

Scenes from Saturday

Last Saturday was a fun day. We just went with it,

 you know when you have plans but you throw them out the window

 and then go with whatever seems clever that day?

  It was that kind of day and ended up being relaxing and fun and just perfect. 

 First we played at the park, then hit up the family farmers market, which had Big Jeff playing for the kiddos and water tubs with toys set up and good food 

(hot dog with pulled pork!  sounds crazy but super tasty!!)

Then we took naps while the little Mr. took his,

and afterwards hung out at the new beer garden on the pier.

We have a date night to look forward to tonight,
Going to try out this local restaurant, with drinks after at a rooftop bar overlooking the city.

Tomorrow we hope to go here to stay out of the heat,

then maybe take a fire station tour on Sunday, with a visit from the inlaws.

Next week I'm so excited to stay with my sis and her four boys.
 I'll be sure to try and pick up some pointers from her on how she does it all   :)
We'll miss Rob who is traveling to CA for work.
